Wildlife in Nailsea

Last week the KS1 ECO committee members, including 2a’s Daisy and Alfie, visited St Francis Primary School in Nailsea, for a wildlife area fact finding mission. As part of KS1’s topic we are organising a campaign to persuade Mr Matthews to help us improve our wildlife area. St Francis School have put a lot of effort in setting up a really good wildlife area and Alfie and Daisy returned with a lot of ideas to help us with ours. In numeracy we have been learning about months and seasons and in literacy we have been creating animal fact file cards. All our “loops for learning” this term are helping us with our wildlife area campaign and planned improvements.
