What a success!

Welcome 4a fans!

Can you believe we have been back for 2 weeks already? You know what they say, time will fly when you’re having fun and we have had a lot of that in Year 4 already!

Not only have we settled nicely into our new class with our new teacher and other adults, we have settled with one another and welcome a new member to our class. We have spent a lot of time over the last 2 weeks getting back into the swing of things and reminding ourselves of the rules and expectations of being at school. It didn’t take us long to get back into shape and show Miss Edwards we are ready to learn and be the best Year 4’s ever!

This last week we have done a lot of work on the Circus as that was our topic and all of the adults were impressed with the work we produced! We wrote some wonderful poems, created some fantastic alliterative lists, drew and decorated amazing clowns and proved we could join the circus with our brilliant circus skills.

We have also started our Maths lessons, focussing on place value and we are masters! We can all work with 4 digit numbers without any problems. We played lots of games and enjoyed working with large numbers.

Here are some photographs of what we got up to this week.

How many tricks can we do?

Rosie has mastered this trick!

The sensible circus were amazing!

We also want to congratulate Kodie and Imogen as they have been elected as 4a’s school councillors! Well done!!
