At a meeting of the Governing Body held at 5pm on Wednesday, 22nd May 2013, it was decided to proceed to the statutory phase of the process without any modifications to the proposals.
This followed careful consideration of a full written report on the consultation process, which included details of all views expressed at meetings and written comments received – including from the consultation questionnaires returned.
Our decision followed a wide consultation process during which all relevant parties were consulted and meetings were held for students, staff, parents/carers and the general public. School representatives from trade unions representing school support staff and the teacher associations were also invited to staff meetings.
All relevant documents relating to the consultation process are attached, including the Statutory Notice that appeared in the Weston Mercury on Thursday 6th June 2013.
Any representations concerning this notice must be returned to the school at the address stated in the notice by noon on Thursday 4th July 2013.
