The first two weeks of the holiday have been very busy for Ted as he’s been rushing around having lots of fun!
He started the holiday by heading to Foyles in Cabot Circus where he met Sean Taylor, author of several picture books.
Ted sat with the children who had come to listen and enjoyed reading ‘Hoot Owl’.
Sean was very pleased to meet Turn Up Ted and hopes to meet him again soon- I wonder whether he might visit school?
On Wednesday 27th, Ted joined Mrs Wilsher and Mrs Waldron on a trip to Oxford to visit the Story Museum- and a few bookshops!
We had a lovely time, looking at all the different rooms. Here Ted is sitting in Mr Gumpy’s boat with all the other animals!
This is the story inventing machine which Ted was playing with and here he is sitting on the story throne which played a fanfare when he sat down!
Mrs Waldron joined Ted at the Mad Hatter’s tea party and then he took a ride through the eternal winter of Narnia in the sleigh of the White Witch.
Feeling tired, he then curled up in Badger’s house and listened to a story by the fire!
This week, he has been exploring the Channel Islands! He’ll post his photos from that trip soon!
