Last week, Turn-Up Ted set off on holiday to the Channel Islands. Having packed his case, he went to Bristol airport where he caught the plane to Guernsey.
The Channel Islands are in the English Channel, off the Normandy coast of France. They include two Crown dependencies- the Bailiwick of Jersey ( the largest of the islands) and the Bailiwick of Guernsey, consisting of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and some smaller islands.
Having arrived at the airport, Ted caught the bus to St Peter Port, Guernsey’s capital where he was staying for the week. It is considered to be one of Europe’s prettiest harbour towns. The hotel was 108 steps up, offering fantastic views of the town and harbour.
Once settled in, Ted had a lovely week, exploring Guernsey and some of the other islands. Here are a few pictures of what he did!
