Turn-Up Ted’s Summer Dairy! Part 6

During the last week of the holidays, Ted has been as busy as ever.

Over the Bank Holiday weekend, Ted turned his hand to painting and gardening. Having been shopping, he also enjoyed lounging around in his new pyjamas.

On Tuesday, Ted accompanied Mrs Wilsher and Mrs Waldron to the Apple Store at Cribbs Causeway where they found out more about using the iPads in class. Having really enjoyed learning lots of new things, he bought a few books and other things before heading home.

Ted visited the lovely Nunney Castle on Wednesday. It is a beautiful ruin in the village of Nunney, Somerset.

Having had a lovely time in the castle, Ted continued on to Frome where he was going to the offices of ‘Chicken House’, another publishing company.

Here he met Barry Cunningham, the man who first published the ‘Harry Potter’ stories.

Having had a very interesting time finding out all about the publishing world, he headed to Hunting Raven Books- an amazing bookshop found in one of Frome’s old streets.

On Thursday, he refused to get up early and go to work with Mrs W, so he had a very lazy day, reading and drinking cups of tea!

On Friday, Ted had to pack away his new clothes and find his uniform, ready to start back at school. He is very excited to be coming back to school and is wondering which classes he will be spending time with this year!
