Tasting Chinese food….what is the verdict?

The children tasted a selection of Chinese popular foods last Friday to celebrate Chinese New Year.  On the menu we had, prawn crackers, kindly made by Emma’s mum, Hoi Sin sauce, chicken noodles and pinapple.

Everyone really enjoyed trying something new and all the children tasted at least one item. The favourite was the prawn crackers.

“They are like crisps”, says Brooke.

“It’s yummy”, says Kaiden.

Micheal had seconds!!

The children were all able to show on a sheet what they liked and what they did not like and parents can see these when you are invited in to see the diaries again next term.
