Singing, the Queen and Healthy Food

We have been very busy recently. Last week we went to Windwhistle school for a Music festival. Other schools were there too. We made special bow ties to link with one of the songs and the other schools chose to make different things to link to other songs. We had a great time singing lots of songs and at the end we had time to play with all the children at the festival outside. On Friday it was the Queen’s 90th birthday and we dressed in red, white and blue. We had special assemblies to celebrate the Queen’s official birthday and in our classes we made things to commemorate the day. We made crowns, a union jack flag and a right, white and blue pom pom . Everyone wore what they had made to one of our special assemblies . It was a splendid sight. Yesterday,13th June, we learnt all about healthy eating. Our favourite bits were using a pedometer and learning to make St Clements drink. Yummy!
