Today, 4B made some 3D shapes.  We made them from modelling clay and straws.  Some of us used polydron.  We made triangular prisms, hexagonal prisms, octagonal prisms, pentagonal-based pyramids and square-based pyramids.  Gypsy surprised everybody and made a rhombahedron!  This was incredible and she earned a merit mark.

Here are our thoughts on this fun maths learning journey:

Tyi has enjoyed going on the line tour around the school.

Paris enjoyed making 2D and 3D shapes.

Ellie-Mae enjoyed the  ‘I’m thinking of a shape…’ game.

We are so excited to find out who our next teacher will be and meet them next week!
