Message in a bottle!

Wow! It has been a fantastic arts week so far – we have had so much fun and made so much art!! We saw the much awaited Bournville Opera which was produced by 4b – it was brilliant! All that hard work (and noise!) really payed off and we thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

We have continued our installation and finally put it up today in time for the exhibition this afternoon.  The bottles were filled with other recycled materials such as scrap paper, material and bits and bobs, as well as glitter, paint, sequins and even some jokes and poems. I think we were all pleased with the end result and the bottles looked fantastic with the sun shining and all the glitter sparkling.  At the beginning of the project we wanted to transform the space in the pagoda, which was quite colourless and boring before, and we all agreed that we achieved that.

This morning we also took part in a photo hunt. This involved using the camera in teams to take photographs of things from a list set by Mrs Corlett and Mrs McArdle. We hope you like some of the photos we took!
