On Thursday, all of year 5 and 6 went on the most amazing trip to Hampton court. We went there because we are learning about Henry VII and the Tudors.
It was a long journey but luckily we had a luxurious coach with a DVD player to pass time.
When we got there, we were all stunned at the sight of this magnificent palace, that was King Henry’s favourite.
Everyone had a favourite room in the palace, but most people found the chapel incredible. It was so peaceful. Legend has it that Henry buried Jane Seymours heart under the altar because he loved her so much.
At the end of the day, everyone was happy but tired as we got onto the coach. The teachers hoped we would all fall asleep…… but we didn’t!!
