Hours:  6.5 hour per week working over 5 sessions, term time only

Contract: Permanent

Salary: JG4  £18,070 – £20,139 per annum pro rata            Actual Salary: Approx. £2,690 - £2,998 per annum

Required from: Start of Term 6 (Monday 4th June 2018)

Windwhistle Primary School is a “Good” School (Ofsted 2014) situated in the popular seaside town of Weston-super-Mare within easy reach of the M5 and routes to Bristol and the South West.  We are a 420 place school including a Nursery and part of Extend Learning Academies Network.  The School is very well-resourced with good professional development opportunities

 We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic Breakfast Club leader to lead our early morning provision for children and to keep the accounts for the payments.

The successful candidate will have or be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • good organisational and communication skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • good at problem solving
  • behaviour management skills
  • an understanding of health and safety and safeguarding procedures
  • basic hygiene certificate
  • a playworker qualification (desirable)
  • a commitment to furthering their professional knowledge in terms of undertaking specific training

Calling all Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants – an exciting opportunity has arisen for you to be able to join the team at ELAN (Extend Learning Academies Network).

We are currently in the process of setting up a new Supply/Bank staff register and are looking for suitably experienced, enthusiastic and motivated supply/bank Teachers, Teaching Assistants & Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly team

Once you have been accepted to be placed on our register you will be eligible to work in any of our 7 school across North Somerset which we currently have within our MAT

You will need a flexible approach and be able to work various hours, sometimes at short notice

Experience of working with children, ideally in a school environment is essential
