Christmas is coming…

Because our attendance was good last week, we won the didi cars today and really enjoyed playing on them.

We have written a letter to Katherine, who is the lady from Weston Museum, to say thank you for helping us with our Roman topic.

In maths, we have been doing fact families for addition and subtraction and also for division and multiplication. We have used bar models to help answer money word problems.

Science has been very exciting this week as we have used the electricity kits to make circuits.

We want to let you know that we are proud of two of our class members , Brandon and Harley, who both earned merits yesterday by getting 7 ticks. It took Mrs Paddon, who makes us work hard for merits, by surprise!

This week, we have been lucky enough to watch the Early years and key stage 1 children perform. They were cute, fantastic and delightful. We are practising for the Carol Service next Friday. Therefore, we have done lots of singing, chosen an angel for the service (Izzy) and also some of us auditioned to be a narrator and Richard was chosen. It was a hard decision as there were a number of children with clear voices and good expression. There are also some children from our class that are in the choir. They are Savannah, Jess and Lola-Bee. We hope you will be joining us next Friday for the service.

We are looking forward to going to the school Christmas fayre this afternoon.

WE WISH YOU  ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
