5b have had a fantastic week kick starting our new topic ‘It’s a Small World’. We spent Tuesday at Cheddar Caves learning about cave formation and natural resources that prehistoric man would have used to survive.
In Numeracy we have been tackling large numbers up to 1 million and we now understand that there are many numbers in between 1 thousand and 1 million. One group even calculated that it would take you 11 days to count in ones up to 1 million!
At the start of the week we went exploring in Uphill woods and collected lots of lovely natural items, we then used these items to create art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy.
