Busy Busy Dizzy Dizzy

Hello Penguin followers
Sorry we did not blog last week but we have been very busy indeed!
Last week we visited the Lifebus. We met Harold the giraffe he helped us to learn all about being healthy. Ellie-Mai said “wash your hands and eat breakfast”, Oliver said “be strong”, kaiden said “have a drink”, Billy said “eat all your food”, “running, going to the park” said Ruby, Shyanna said “clean your teeth” Kaitlyn said “two times a day”.
This week we have been doing P.E. Warren said “running about and making a bridge”, “throwing a ball” said Amanda. We are practising ready for Sport Day.
We have loved bug hunting outside. The children have been digging and searching for different bugs and looked at information books to learn more about what their bug was called and where it likes to live. Mrs Wyatt brought in some celery for the snails “to eat” said Reece. The children put the bugs back in the hedge and in the bug hotel at the end of the day.
We have also been to an African drumming workshop. Grace said “it was fun”, Kaiden said “the talking drum”. We all got the chance to play different African instruments and learnt how to keep a beat and rhythm whilst singing African songs.
We loved having our parents and carers into open afternoon to help us celebrate Wesak Day also known as a Budda Day. Everyone had the chance to decorate a giant Budda and made some lotus flowers, as well as relax to some meditation music.
Keep posted for more fun and learning next week!
