Busy bees learning to become gardeners in 4A

On Tuesday morning we went on a visit to Cadbury center, we looked at lots of colourful plants to give us ideas for the gardens that we are designing for Bournville in Bloom. Liam spent lots of time smelling the herbs and liked the lemon one the best. When we got back to school we sent Cadbury an email thanking them for a great morning.

On Wednesday we had a visit form Mary and Gail from Send A Cow, they talked to us about keyhole gardens. These are gardens that are made in Uganda. We had loads of fun making our own keyhole garden in which we planted some bean plants, we will have more plants to put in soon.

Here is us with Mary and Gail and our finished keyhole garden.
