Bit of a catch up!!!

Its been a few weeks since 6A have published here, so we’re taking a bit of time to catch you up on what we’ve been up to.

In the week before half term, we performed our school production of Rags to riches.  It was a huge success and the audience responded brilliantly!  Many of the main speaking parts came from the our class, including Danielle as Nancy, Tori as Fagin and Corey

as Dodger and many more. I think we will see many of these children take the stage in the future- we were stars!!!!

Having returned from a well deserved holiday, we have been finishing our Power of Reading book Skellig!  We have been writing reports and finishing the story which was fantastic!

Our body magic topic has continued this term with lots of work on the human body.  We have been finding out about the organs in the body and what they all do.  We have also been learning all about the circulatory system this week and learning all about how the heart works.  It’s been really interesting.

Aside of all the class work, we had a lovely trip to Pizza Hut last week where we had the opportunity to make healthy pizzas.  It was great fun and he pizzas were delicious.  Alfie hada. Special treat as it was his birthday and he got a special birthday ice cream.  As it was friendship week, we prepared a song, the Beatles “I’ll get by with a little help from my friends’ and then sang it in assembly on Thursday.

This week, Monday saw the whole school celebrating the Jewish festival on Hanukkah.  It was a great day with story telling, dance workshop and much more.

Next week we have even more exciting things on and we’ll look forward to telling you all about it then
