Last week the nursery children had been learning about the Hindu festival Holi, known as the festival of colour. They took part in a big art project using lots of different media to colour a very large piece of paper on the floor.
They also tried some classical Indian dancing, they were really good at jumping and shaking their arms.
Some of them went outside and used sprays to wet a huge piece of paper. They then threw handfuls of powder paint onto the paper to create a beautiful piece of art to celebrate Holi. If you come into school you will be able to see it displayed in the corridor.
What a great week!
Look out for more nursery updates soon.
