What a week we have been having!
This week we have been studying the story of Odysseus and his wife Penelope. Our inspiration was based on a painting by Pinturicchio, and it was called Penelope with the suitors.
We have created diary entries as if we were Penelope, so we could explore how she would have felt waiting for her husband.
Tuesday saw us dancing in the hall. We were retelling through dance the stories of Odysseus.
On Wednesday we went to the beach so we could create sculptures on the mythical creatures Odysseus encountered on his way home. It might have been a bit hot but we pushed through and had a great afternoon.
On a side note we’ve been able to have more time with Year 6 to practise The Golden Ticket production. We can’t wait for everyone to see it!
