Hi 4B fans! Here’s what we have been up to this week:
In English, we have been continuing our work on ‘Belonging’. We have been writing diary entries and putting ourselves into different character roles. We have done some hotseating and we loved Mr Tucker’s performance of a nosy neighbour. We were all blown away by Tazmin’s great acting skills and Archie played a brilliant slob.
In computing, we are making good progress in programming. We are getting very confident in moving our sprites using blocks. Did you know a set of instructions or blocks in this case is called an algorithm? Archie and Poppy were first to complete this weeks’ computing challenge.
We have been back out around Weston for our topic investigating local environmental issues. We received a ‘mysterious’ letter from a demolition company who want to build houses all around beautiful places in our locality. We have been collecting evidence so that we can put a stop to this demolition company’s antics!
We have even learned how to paint beautiful woodland scenes and hope if our evidence doesn’t stop them then perhaps our paintings will!
