A week of special events

Hello again 4a fans.

We have had a very interesting week with a number of different events happening on different days. On Tuesday we celebrated the Jewish festival of Yom Kippur and had a great day. We thought about things we have done wrong and would like forgiveness for, created forgiveness cards, decorated Kiddush cups, made Challah bread and decorated our own bread boards with wonderful Hebrew writing. We finished the day by having a feast of bread dipped in hummus and apples dipped in honey. It was delicious and there was not a crumb left.

On Friday it was Children in Need and the whole school were allowed to dress in sports clothes to raise money. We also had a huge Pudsey in the school and we all put our loose change on him in our Pennies for Pudsey appeal.

We have also started our new book Krindlekrax and it is amazing. We have read the first 10 chapters and we are already hooked!

Have a good week and please make sure you read again next weekend to find out what we have been up to!
