Another busy, busy week in year 6!
Last week, it was Anti-bullying Week and our assemblies were centred around this theme. Mrs Chaffey read us the lovely story, ‘You’re Not Ugly, Duckling!’ which we all really enjoyed!
On Tuesday, we were really lucky! Author, Dave Rudden came to talk to us and did a writing workshop with a group of Y6 children. He was excellent – and very inspiring!
Wednesday’s trip to @Bristol was such fun! The children were so well behaved and enjoyed themselves so much. The range of activities on offer was fantastic and the class loved exploring the different exhibits and activities.
On Thursday, we were delighted to see Mrs Richards and her baby. She answered lots of our questions and it was so lovely to see them looking so well and happy!
In amongst all the wonderful writing (we will post some soon!) and maths work we are doing, we have also been painting some beautiful sun/moon pictures. I am so proud of the effort and care everyone is putting into this work!
Friday was ‘Children in Need’ Day and there were spots everywhere!
6a were wonderful again this week and worked really hard! What will next week bring?
