It’s been another busy week in Year 6! Since coming back from the holiday, we have been really focusing on SATs which are creeping up on us.
As it is the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death on the 23rd April, we have been learning about the great man. The children have been working in groups to write biographies about him and about the Globe theatre. We also watched the ‘Shakespeare 400’ programme about his school, London in Tudor times and his plays. In addition, we watched ‘The Animated Tales: Romeo and Juliet.’
Being a wonderful class, we have achieved 50/50 class credit points for the second time! Mrs Ludwell, Miss Reasons, Mrs Collins, Mrs Thomas and I could not be more proud of them! Mr M always comments on what a pleasure they are to take for PE as well.
The children have work to complete in their homework books for Reading, SPAG and maths. These need to be in on Wednesday at the latest, please.
