4a’s fortnight

After 2 weeks back at school we are very tired and our brains have been worked very hard!

In English we have been working on a very interesting book; The Pebble in my Pocket. We have done a lot of different work based on the book including; drama, writing, art and research. We are also going on a trip next week, to Stonehenge, to hopefully learn a little more about the stone age. We will let you know how we get on when we blog next week.

In maths we have been learning about fractions. We can now add and subtract fractions, order and compare fractions and find equivalent decimals to different fractions. How clever are we hey?

In Science, we have been thinking about animals and their habitats. We spent some time thinking about and creating food chains and then went on to match animals to their habitats. We are now wondering what we are going to do next!

We have had a good fortnight of awards too with a large number of us receiving our bronze certificates!

Well done to Kodie, Jackson, Owen and Rio!
