Last Friday, we had a fantastic trip to @Bristol. We learned lots and also had fun!
This week in maths, we have been learning about length so we have measured in metres and centimetres, compared lengths and answered word problems. We have used computer programmes to help with bar modelling which is a useful way of picturing a word problem. We have also been practising our tables on the computer.
Our excellent lunchtime behaviour has won us time on the didi cars again this week.
In English, we have finally finished Roman Quest and have started our new text which is I Was a Rat. We have written our wonders and connections for the front cover and for the first paragraph. To develop a clear picture of the main character, Roger, we have done a ‘role on the wall’ to note his appearance and feelings.
Yesterday, we enjoyed World Book day where we dressed up as book characters and read to children in preschool. We really enjoyed sharing books with them.
