Year 6 class assembly

On Wednesday, 6a and 6b worked together to present some of the work that we have doing this term. We have been busy perfecting our writing so decided to share a selection of our persuasive writing.
Half of the year group were trying to persuade the audience to visit their chosen tourist attraction in WEston-Super-Mare. After hearing from all of the groups it was the Pirate Adventure group that managed to persuade the majority of the audience.
The other half of the week shared persuasive postcards that they had written to authors. They were trying to persuade authors that met Turn Up Ted to visit the town.
We ended the performance with a performance of songs that we had learnt at the recent Weston Rocks singing festival.
We are now feeling ready to start practising for our end of year leavers assembly which is Thursday 16th July at 1:30pm.
