The new Bournville Primary School building was completed in June 2010 – a purpose-built £9.7m project designed to meet the needs of our children and community for the 21st century. Built around 2 fully enclosed quadrangles the spacious building features:

  • A dedicated 2+ Nursery and a Pre-school Nursery
  • Enclosed Early Years/Reception unit with free-flow indoor/outdoor area
  • Creative area for arts, crafts and “messy play”
  • Dedicated creative arts unit
  • 14 classrooms with interactive whiteboards and external learning space
  • 2 halls and 5 group rooms
  • Large learning resource centre (library and media suite)
  • Fully equipped internal stage, and 2 external stages
  • Food technology room
  • Community, meeting and full-service Extended School rooms
  • Floodlit multi-use games area and Sport England football pitch
  • Forest school area
  • Large well equipped playground
  • Pastoral support and SENCO suites
  • Community ICT suite

    Registration closes: 9.00 am

    Morning session: 8.50 am – 12 noon

    Afternoon session: 1.00 pm – 3.15 pm

    Our school is part of the Weston-super-Mare Education Trust. The first co-operative  of its kind across North Somerset, we are one of five schools who form the trust with the shared vision of working together to improve outcomes for all of our pupils.
