Bournville Primary School is an OUTSTANDING School!

Welcome back!

We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and are refreshed and ready for a busy few weeks!

Our first week back has certainly been a busy one! We have started a new book but, we have no idea what the title is yet. All we know is that in the middle of nowhere, there is a small house with small windows. We have spent a lot of time thinking about questions based on the start of the book. Here is the first picture and some of our questions:

– How do you get to the house?
– Why is there a house in the middle of nowhere?
– Why is the rubbish there?
– Who lives there?
– What is inside the house?
– Where did the rubbish come from?
– When are they going to turn the light off?

In Maths we have moved on to measures and have started off looking at mass. We have looked at grams and kilograms and we all know that 1000g = 1kg! We have also looked at converting between kg and g and did you know that 1.2Kg = 1200g?

In Science we have started a new topic called Stone Roses which is going to be all about rocks and plants. Our first session allowed us to share everything we know about rocks and generate some questions we would like to try and answer.

Have a lovely weekend 4a fans and keep checking in to see what we are up to.
