Last week we had 2 Victorian visitors Mrs Clark and Mr Murphy. We visited a Victorian classroom and dressed up as Victorian children. We did some handwriting using ink and nibs. We wrote on slates using a stylus.

We made cup and ball which we enjoyed a lot. We made thaumatropes which were also fun. Brooklyn said his favourite was playing marbles.

In numeracy we found out the favourite flavour jelly baby in 1A, it is red just like ours. We collected the information using a tally chart then we put the information on to a pictogram.

For literacy we had to write a description of the Queen of Hearts. We think she is mean, evil, selfish, mad, angry and her cheeks turn red.

Our helping hands this week are Harry and Lincoln.
