We have started a new learning journey about measurements. Once we have finished, we will be making muffins as part of our challenge. 3a are looking forward to try them!
On Friday 5th February, we learnt to play wheelchair basket ball using REAL wheelchairs! We found out that wheelchairs were used for people who were injured at war.
In our book, Varjak Paw, Varjak has decided to leave the house and go to find a dog to save the family. From the high garden wall, he tries to jump across to a tree but ends up crash landing on the ground below. He finds himself talking to the famous Jalal Paw who was the first Mesopotamian Blue to ever live the other side of the wall. Jalal teaches Varjak the way. He tries to swipe this other cat BUT keeps on missing him?!
Yesterday, we found out about a very special person called Mother Teresa who cared for people who others didn’t want to care for. Her motto was “Love one another as I have loved you.” When she died she had run more than 500 missions helping others!
