Today, 4B (Echo Opera Company) went to look around Sidcot School to get inspiration for the sets making up our opera. We had very friendly tour guides (pupils from the Year 6 classes) and they showed us amazing things such as Science labs, an old library and a sports hall. Their dining hall was even called a refrectory. It was gigantic! We have sketched ideas and we have Lucy from Royal Opera House coming on Tuesday to help us come up with a plan for the sets. How exciting! Here are our comments about the tour today,
Gypsy enjoyed the Science lab because a teacher showed her a flame experiment. It was such an incredible experiment!
Angel saw horses which the children use for horse riding lessons.
Alfie liked the sports facilities.
