On Tuesday we visited the pond area and made seed bombs which we launched into the long grass…we can’t wait to see what flowers grow there!
Lilly met the Mayor for a drink and piece of cake.
Our Bournville in Bloom show went very well. We asked poeple to vote for their favourite 3D garden design…The winner was ‘Army House’ followed closely by ‘Ding Dong Garden’. All the designs were great! We were also raising money for the children we sponsor in Kenya by selling our amazing flowers, windmills and bug homes. (see photos) A big THANK YOU to all the parents, carers and children that bought from our stalls.
In maths we have been solving problems using what we have found out about remainders. We managed to discover Mr Stansfield’s secret numbers again.
In English we finished off our tragedies and started writing list poems using abstract nouns. Here is an example:
The zoo of bitter jealousy flustered
The home of freezing happiness bragged
The shop of strange love blurted
The park of spooky joyfulness considered
And the the school of happiness scuttled.
