During the past week we have been learning lots of new and exciting things in 5b. In literacy we have been learning alternative versions of the Nativity story. We have completed lots of drama and we have written our own versions from the point of view of one of the characters from the story such as the donkey.
In Topic we have been learning how to read grid references, we learnt how to read 4 digit grid references and some of use even went in the read 6 figure references! Never again will we need to use a sat nav! The week was finished off with the wonderful Christmas Fair where the children saw the snowflakes that were made during open morning up for sale to raise funds for the school. The stall was very popular and the snowflakes sold very quickly! Thank you to everybody for all your support.
This final week will see us completing newspaper reports about the first moon landing and also lots of lovely Christmas arts and crafts.
