All buzzing in 3a!

This week we have been testing out materials to see whether they conduct electricity (conductors) or not (non-conductors). We used this strange energy buzzer ball to help us test if the circuit was complete. We also drew a poster explaining how we thought the buzzer worked. Well done to everyone for some great ideas and explanations!

We have been learning how to do written addition with three digit numbers! Some of us are getting really good at it now.

In English we have been writing our own reports about WWII evacuees. We collected information into paragraphs with sub-headings and made sure we used a variety of sentences types like simple, compound and complex!

Next week we are expecting to have an exciting visit from Claire Barker who is an author of ‘Knitbone Pepper: Ghost Dog’. We will update you then!
