A great day out!

Yesterday, we spent the day at St Fagans exploring all the different houses through the years.
We spent time in the Victorian school room where we found out more about being a Victorian child and their style of schooling. We couldn’t believe the sound of the cane as the expert struck the table. We also found out that children that were left handed had to out their fingers in to a trap so that they would not use their left hand-they had to train their right hand!
Later on in the day, we went in to the terrace of cottages and looked at how homes have changed through the ages.
We had such a great day and we can use our experiences to help our understanding with our new topic ‘Beach Huts, Bathing Suits and Brunel’!
