A busy few weeks

Hi 4a fans.

Sorry we haven’t written for a few weeks! We have been super busy learning & rehearsing for our performance of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream.’ We can’t believe the show is next week! Time really does fly when you’re having fun.

Over the last few weeks, in maths, we have been looking at a range of things. We have learnt how to convert fractions to decimals/decimals to fractions, rounded decimals to the nearest whole number, multiplied and divided by 10 & 100 and solved lots of money problems. We all know that 0.25 = 25%, 0.5 = 50% and 0.75 = 75%! Can you guess what 0.25 + 0.5 =?

English has also kept us busy. we are still reading and working on I Was a Rat and poor Roger has got himself into all sorts of bother! He got flustered in class, bit the teacher and ran away! Poor boy is still confused about whether he is a boy or a rat! We have spent some time looking at newspaper reports and are beginning to create our own headlines. It is great fun!

Right, we need to get back to rehearsing so we can wow you with our show next week!

Thanks for reading.
